Thoughts

Been busy and still busy with my assignments, almost forgotten about my FYP and mandatory meeting with my supervisor.

Didn’t have enough training for bowling, definitely I didn’t expect to win because I’m not a good bowler. I take it as training in APIIT’s sports carnival for my intercollege competition, even though I’m represent team B (A is better than B, yeah I’m lousy), but my plays hasn’t been consistant, at least I don’t embarrassed my other team members if I can bowl better and with more consistancy. I hope

Will reduce my workouts in gym due to heavy workload, but somehow I’m looking forward to my first ever arm wrestling competion! I don’t see myself wining in this competition, because I’m in category of 75kgs and below and I’m only weighted at 64kgs, how am I going to beat that muscleman of 75kgs? Certainly, I would like to test my strength against others, see how much effort that I put in gym during workout can come into this play. Hope they don’t break my wrist!

Pangea Day

May 11, 08 by Jiun Jie

Pangea Day was an international multimedia event conducted on May 10, 2008. Cairo, Kigali, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, and Rio de Janeiro were linked to produce a 4-hour program of films, music and speakers. The program was broadcast live across the globe from 1800 to 2200 UTC, culminating in a global drum circle, symbolizing the common heartbeat of the world.

According to the festival organizers, “Pangea Day plans to use the power of film to bring the world a little closer together”, “Bring together millions of people from all over the world in a unique shared experience”, “Use the power of film to create a better understanding of one and another”, “Form a global community striving for a better future”.

I have seen a few clips from YouTube. All of them are truly inspiring, telling their stories by flim and we could understand it even though there are living half way around the globe.

The Real Sumo Fighting

April 20, 08 by Jiun Jie

Two wrestlers attempt to force one another out of a circular ring by pushing, lifting opponent’s leg, head butting, of course minus the demonstration of E Honda’s Hyaku Retsu Harite, Super Zutsuki and Super Hyakkan Otoshi.

But, this is even better! Special moves that you have never seen before. Absolutely entertaining, especially when it involves with the earth and the surroundings.

Sumo has never been this interesting before.

Watch it, you will know what i mean :)

This is a compilation of The Real Sumo Fighting 1-8. Sadly the last bit is out of sync, so here you go, for the perfect sync clip of The Real Sumo Fighting no. 8.

Luckily the Gyoji put the earth back together, else I wonder where are we now? LOL!

Mario Theme Played with RC Car and Bottles

April 19, 08 by Jiun Jie

Perfect arrangement! I bet they took a very long time to put this together, from calculation of the car’s speed to the gap and arrangement of bottles to get the correct timing, not to mention to fill up the bottles to make each and every note to tune.

Salute!
