Pangea Day was an international multimedia event conducted on May 10, 2008. Cairo, Kigali, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, and Rio de Janeiro were linked to produce a 4-hour program of films, music and speakers. The program was broadcast live across the globe from 1800 to 2200 UTC, culminating in a global drum circle, symbolizing the common heartbeat of the world.
According to the festival organizers, “Pangea Day plans to use the power of film to bring the world a little closer together”, “Bring together millions of people from all over the world in a unique shared experience”, “Use the power of film to create a better understanding of one and another”, “Form a global community striving for a better future”.
I have seen a few clips from YouTube. All of them are truly inspiring, telling their stories by flim and we could understand it even though there are living half way around the globe.

Easter, the Sunday of the Resurrection, or Resurrection Day, is the most important religious feast of the Christian liturgical year, observed between late March and late April (early April to early May in Eastern Christianity). It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which his followers believe occurred on the third day after his death by crucifixion some time in the period AD 27 to 33 (see Good Friday). In the Roman Catholic Church, Easter is actually an eight-day feast called the Octave of Easter.
Easter also refers to the season of the church year, lasting for fifty days, from Easter Sunday through Pentecost.
In San Francisco, every Easter Day, they will have their very own, Easter Race!
Thats right, having a race in Lombard Street, San Francisco, also known as Lombard Crooked Street.

Having you own “race car” and race with others from top of the crooked street to bottom. Just for the fun of it!

Its been a long time since we had discussed to take a ride to Telok Gong to have seafood there. The last time I went there it was 2-3 years back.
Since now is CNY and we are still in holidays, I only managed to gathered 5 more peoples, thats Aaron, Yvonne, Wey Loong, Alvin Khong, Ju Yau and myself. Others are busy with ang pow i guess
Ju Yau drove all of us using Kesas but skipped 1st toll by cutting in from Bukit Jalil-Puchong and exit via LDP @ RM1.60, then turn in Kesas thru Summit and pay 1 toll from Kesas @ RM2.20. According to Aaron, the distance covered using this way is the same if you are using Kesas all the way and pay 3 tolls @ RM2.20. We saved RM2.80 using this route, nowadays petrol and toll also expensive u know? Must drive smart 1….
We reached there at Telok Gong according to our plan at 6pm, you know now is CNY, a lots of people will be coming to dine.
The entrance of the restaurant.
