Seafood at Telok Gong

Since now is CNY and we are still in holidays, I only managed to gathered 5 more peoples, thats Aaron, Yvonne, Wey Loong, Alvin Khong, Ju Yau and myself. Others are busy with ang pow i guess
Ju Yau drove all of us using Kesas but skipped 1st toll by cutting in from Bukit Jalil-Puchong and exit via LDP @ RM1.60, then turn in Kesas thru Summit and pay 1 toll from Kesas @ RM2.20. According to Aaron, the distance covered using this way is the same if you are using Kesas all the way and pay 3 tolls @ RM2.20. We saved RM2.80 using this route, nowadays petrol and toll also expensive u know? Must drive smart 1….
We reached there at Telok Gong according to our plan at 6pm, you know now is CNY, a lots of people will be coming to dine.
The entrance of the restaurant.
VIP parking for Ju Yau, saman parking for Aaron

Before eating, everyone seems to be normal…
The captain got us a table under a momo-tea style of hut, and starts taking order. Ju Yau ordered 1 dish, and I ordered the rest! Because the captain was standing right next to me, im not the boss, ok ?

Preparation center next to our table.
Table number 21! Come play blackjack! Sure can get 21!

Various size of tables for various size of family and friends.
While we are waiting for the dishes to serve, I heard some X’mas song playing at the back, im not annoyed but was curious why now is CNY but playing X’mas song? Then I walked to the back I saw a small area with kids sitting on top of the coin-eating-machine playground, and thats where the X’mas songs came from once the machine is fed with coins!
There is a group of people came later than us, sat right across our table ordered Low Sang and was making hell loud of a noise. Im damn hungry and they are making me even hungry!
A bunch of young guys and girls, happily low sang-ing!
Finally, our 1st dish was served. Its Fried Mee Hoon with Lala! Not a big serving, averagely 1 small bowl each. This is the 1st time I tried this and it taste good! Of course la, that is their famous dish.

Mee Hoon with small little lala chai, y’know what’em I talkin’ abt ?
While we are enjoying our Lala chai Mee Hoon, the vegi was served. Its Lightly fried Yau Mark! Actually what do you call in english Yau Mark? Can someone let me know?
Slightly salted Your Mak Yau Mark with garlic.
Then came Razor Clam, I didnt know it was called like that, all the while I know it as Bamboo Lala. But the size of Razor Clam that we ordered was very small, the 1 I ate was 2-3 times bigger than this and it taste like chicken like heaven! Very dissapointed, this wasnt the favour, maybe because global warming and caused all the Razor Clam shrunk?

Razor Clam friend with ginger and onion.

Where is my big fat wide bamboo lala
No one seems to like the Razor Clam, but Ju Yau & myself sapu almost all of it! Then the prawn came, it is the Butter Milk Prawn!
Crab Prawn fried with butter milk.
It looks good for the prawn, but the taste not really into it. At least it was better than the Razor Clam. I think the toppings for the prawn taste better than the prawn itself! kakakaka….
Toppings that looks like a haystack.
It was quite a while we need to wait for our last dish, then I saw Ju Yau stacking up his tower using shells, I also stack my own tower, pagoda tower
I think I killed 1 of the prawn during the construction of the pagoda tower, notice the leg hanging?
Then the mother of prawn invaded my pagoda tower

Where do you think the idea of catching a peanut using chopstick came from? hahhhaa…
Mantislicious Prawn! Double Yew Tee Ef?
All the orders was served, we start to looking at each other… Because we are still hungry and wanted for more food! We were discussing what to eat next…
Wey Loong, Alvin Khong & Ju Yau
After disscussion, we wanted to order for 2nd round. But we look around, there are no captain and waiter/waitress around! Double Yew Tee Ef? Actually ar, they were having a small gathering talking about Hen’s husband!
Talking Hen’s husband session.
I found a waiter’s tag clipping at drain for the hut. Arent the waiter suppose to wear it or to keep it in a safe place? That means I could reach the tag and walk around pretend to be a waiter & join for talking hen’s husband session, hehe…

SawAGayLo SAW AHGALO? Siapa tu?

I wonder what kinda service will they provide once I pressed this button? hhmmm…
We ran out of tea, and the waiter/waitress was very busy. Dont worry, we have Wey Loong to refill our tea for us. The refilling center is just next to our table, it is very convenient to refill. Why wait for the waiter/waitress to come while you can do it yourself and quench your thirst?

Quick-flashy-lighting-speed Wey Loong!
We ordered 1 more Lala Mee Hoon and Fried Sotong. We were chatting and laughing while waiting, plus we ate abit earlier, so it doesnt feel to wait very long until the 2nd food was served.

Another plate of Lala fried Mee Hoon, taste good ya!

After eating, stomach full already, must relax abit ma…
After enjoy all the food, I asked for the bill. It wasnt that expensive, RM151 for 6 pax, thats RM25+ each for seafood! If you eat in KL, i reckon it could be RM50 per pax. Surprising, all the dishes were RM15 each except for prawn which cost RM45.
We left near 8pm, by that time the restaurant was packed with people. I bet those who came during peak hours will need to wait longer for their food to served.
Will I come back again? Definitely I will, because you cant get seafood at that price in KL, and sometimes it is better to travel abit further to enjoy their food.
Next time would be seafood at Telok Gong and go-kart
